"I decided to start Ladies On the Verge of Excellence Inc. because growing up I was always considered the 'problem child' I was smart, but my negative behavior always overshadowed my scholastic accomplishments. Although many of the mistakes I made growing up helped shape me into the women I am today I often think about where I could be if I had someone besides family to talk to. Throughout college I always participated in mentoring programs targeted towards young women, I took what I learned from these programs and decided to create a mentoring programs for young ladies by young women so that we could still be able to relate to our mentees. I knew from a child that I would one day own my own business, but I never expected for it to be a non-profit. Ladies On the Verge of Excellence gives my life purpose and my work meaning. I love stressing the importance of balancing education with personal well being. I am grateful to have the opportunity to positively change girls' lives."

"I'm a huge advocate for giving back, community service, and scholarship . I'm a firm believer that volunteering not only strengthens the community but it gives one a sense of civic responsibility. Growing up I quickly realized that resources for personal development to help set the youth up for success are not always readily available . So I take it on as a personal responsibility to give back to the community and to volunteer my time if that means I'm opening doors of opportunity to the future generation .That's why when my best friend Kourtnei reached out to me I knew I definitely wanted to be apart of this organization . I look forward to embarking on this journey with you."
